Counseling Services
At Faithful Shepherd Catholic School, we know that educating and caring for your child goes beyond academics. FSCS has partnered with Phoenix School Counseling where Dr. Steve Kahn and myself, the in-house counselor, provide counseling services to our students.

Dr. Kahn is a psychologist specializing in parenting. His group, Phoenix School Counseling, provides counseling, assessment services and presentations on parenting to school, business, and church groups. Dr. Kahn gives regular, free parenting talks around the community.

I offer individual and small group support for students with anxiety, depression, life changes, grief, self-esteem, friendship, impulse control, anger management, study skills and social skills needs.  I also teach regular character education lessons in K-8 classrooms to go more in depth with students on topics such as responsibility, healthy choices, perseverance, and citizenship, and more.

For information on mental health resources in the area, please contact Dr. Kahn at or (651) 426-4297.

Meet our School Counselor

Mrs. Moseley

I received my undergraduate degree in Rehabilitation Studies from the University of North Texas, with minors in Addictions, Human Services, and Psychology. I received my graduate degree in School Counseling from Liberty University. I hold a certificate in Addictions and a K-12 License in School Counseling. Within the schools I have worked with, I have enjoyed leading different small groups and having lunch bunch with K-8 students. I am excited to be at Faithful Shepherd for the coming school year, and look forward to getting to know the students, families, and faculty. In 2011, my family and I relocated to Minnesota from Dallas, Texas. We currently reside in St. Paul. My husband Josh and I have two children, Chase (9) and Leila (6), along with our two dogs, Marley and Cooper. In my free time I enjoy reading, traveling/road-tripping with my family, and making memories.
